Beth Lawson (like you didn't know) lives in beautiful, sunny Florida.  Born in Germany, grew up all over the world.  My Dad was in the Army, so we moved at least every three years.  I told my parents that they instilled a habit of moving at least every three years, and I have continued that habit it to this day.  Randy and I married this year (2004) so I'm technically still on my honeymoon, at least for the next three years!  No children, but Randy and I have a wonderful little dog, named Sissy.  She is as spoiled rotten as they come.  I start each and every day with a card game, on my computer.  I always win (sometimes it takes a few games) because I want to start my day out as a winner.

Likes:  The ocean and my computer.  I love to laugh, smile and find the positive in every situation.  I like helping others, and giving back.  Learning new things.  Scuba diving.  Animals.  Watching a really good movie (chick flicks and Sci-Fi), some of my favorites, Arsenic and Old Lace, Dune, Star Wars, Pay It Forward, The Shawshank Redemption, City of Angels, Gladiator, The Matrix.

Dislikes:  road rage, negative people and situations, people who don't tell the truth, people who pollute, animal abuse, scary movies, abuse of any kind, cold weather, ice, snow, yellow snow :o),

Dreams:  Randy and I would like to live in the Florida Keys, with a hurricane proof house on the water, preferably our own island.  I would like to travel to Australia to see the ocean (of course).  Africa would be my next destination, to go on a safari.   Alaska to go on a cruise to see the whales.  Then, I'll start with the B's.  I like to travel, but there's no place like home.

Hopes

I really do hope for world peace.

I hope that I never lose my need for education.

I hope that everyone who is hungry will have something to eat.

I hope that everyone has a nice place to lay their head down and get some peaceful rest.

Aspirations

To completely fulfil everything on my Dream Wheel, and then fill it up again.

To live in the Keys or on our own private island (yeah, our friends can come and visit!). To be able to donate more money to worthwhile causes.

To have a new salt water aquarium.

Spiritually

I would like to keep this private.  I don't mind sharing this with the people that I'm close to, but I don't want to share it with the world yet.  It's not time for me to do that.  I'll let you know when it is.  I'm not sure that I know how to express what I feel.  I know what I believe, but expressing it with others, that's tough.

I was born in Colchester, Essex, England and am still here.  I lived in Stanway from birth to age 15 then moved to Birch which is a little village with nothing in it about 10 minutes into the back of beyond. I left home at 17 to move in with "Barry".  We rented near town, then rented in Brightlingsea, then rented down Cowdray Avenue (where we lived when Thomas was born) then we purchase our first house in St Johns. I returned home at 19 with a 8 month old son "Thomas" and signed the house over to Barry to "get him out of my life".  I intended to stay with mum and dad for 3 months.  I wrote a list of all of the things I wanted my perfect partner to have (mum helped). Tall, fit, doctor / solicitor, kind, good with children, etc etc. I already knew Adrian from work but only as a colleague and not as anything else.  We used to go out as a group of 5-10 on a Saturday night on the town.  My mum would always collect me whatever the hour as she hated the thought of me catching a taxi on my own.  One evening "Adrian" offered to wait with me for my mum to turn up. As I drove off my mum said "oh, he looks a nice chap".  She planted the seed...

I found out that Adrian was going bowling with work the following Monday... so I happened to get a ticket AND be on his team (it is who you know and not what you know) I spent the evening looking at his lovely bum and the next day he called and asked me out. 

We went for Chinese on 19th May 1998.  We got engaged on my 21st birthday, 4th February 1999. We bought a 2 bedroom bungalow in July 1999. We married September 25th 1999. I gave birth to our daughter Rosie 29th July 2000. We moved into our new much bigger house in May 2001.

We are very very happy. I believe that Adrian is my angel sent to me as he is everything I could want in my perfect partner. (except when he is either tired, hungry or poorly!)

Hopes

I hope that one day I will be debt free and able to not have to think about every single penny that I spend. 

I hope that one day I will really be able to make the lives of A LOT of people better in some way.

I hope that my family and friends are always healthy and happy.

I hope that I get to go to Florida to see a new found soul-mate of mine who really needs a friend right now...

Aspirations

I would like to see more of the world.  Australia, New Zealand, USA, Africa.

I would like to go to Kenya to see the animals but I am quite allergic so not sure about that...(also a wimp!)

I would like to go back to Venice with just Adrian and walk around it together hand in hand.

I would like to have a big back garden with trees and flowers and nature (and privacy to allow sunbathing)

I would like to be able to buy my husband a yacht so he can sail me and the children across the seas for our holidays.

Spiritually

I would like to see, feel, hear and smell more than I do.

I would like to be more "in tune" with my spiritual guides.

I would like to give love where love is needed.
