First of all, my name is Sue Swiech and I am 23. My mothers' name is Marcy Falango. We are a very close family, especially after my fathers' death in '95. I have a little sister (she's 22) and a little brother (19) and also an older brother that I have not seen in two years. He's 25. I have been trying to locate him, and having no luck. My mother is having a lot of mental problems. She has quite a bit of guilt about what happened between my brother and my father many years ago. My father was quite abusive towards my brother and my mother never even tried to stop it from happening. Now she feels nothing but regret and guilt. She is going to counselling and taking medication, but last night she had to be hospitalized.
Anyways, she is having a hard time dealing with the absence of my brother.
I just want to let her know that she is loved by ALL of her children, my older brother Charlie included, and that she will always be the best mother that has ever lived.

Hey Marcy, have mercy on yourself.

I know Dad and Charlie,
never quite got along.

Now why do you feel so guilty ?
You couldn't have stopped them if you'd tried.
Let's not waste any more words,
let go of the pain you feel inside.
 
That's why planes crash in the night,
that's why ships get lost at sea.
Some things just go and happen,
that's the way they were meant to be.
 
Today is the first day,
of the rest of your life,
forget about the past,
forget about the strife.
 
Because what's done is done,
a message that I hope is clear.
And we're all standing by you,
Because Mother, we ALL love you dear.
