Hi my name is Melinda Battles. I am 27 years old. I am married with two little girls Jennifer and Deana. The only grandkids on my side as of now. I am looking for something very special for my parents for Christmas. I saw your website, this would be wonderful. My parents are Kenneth and Patsy Boggs. Dad married my mom when i was two years old. I love him very much he is a wonderful man. I have one brother that is five years younger. My brother is his real son, but dad has never made a difference between us. Dad has always treated me as if I was his. So I am. I have had chances to know the man that brought me into this world, but I have no desire to. Because the man that I call daddy is the only dad I need. He has always been there for me no matter what I did. I just want my parents to know just how thankful I am that he took the daddy responsibility on. I am so very thankful that he is my girls grandpa. I know he will always be there for them like he is me.

Daddy

The man that I call Daddy,
is the only Dad that I need,
doesn't matter about biology,
or who planted the seed.

Because Daddy has always been there,
no matter what I've done,
has always treated me as his,
never different from his only son.

I thank my lucky stars,
he took Mum as his wife,
I am just so very thankful,
that he came into our life.

And now my girls are lucky too,
because they have your love to share,
you can see the pride in your eyes,
you can see that you really care.

So I just want to say thank you,
thanks for being my Dad,
I'm proud to call you Daddy,
the best father a girl ever had.
