Jealousy
 
The nasty green eyed dragon,
lies lurking in the deep,
always lying with one eye open,
never quite falls asleep.
 
The dragon feeds on infidelity,
feasts on our secret fears,
loves a banquet of insecurity,
and drinks from our jealous tears.
 
It makes us sad and angry,
bitter and twisted from within,
will turn us against each other,
before true love can settle in.
 
So let me be your St. George,
and spear your dragon through the heart,
let us trust each other,
no questions, let us start.
 
We've both been hurt before,
and way before our prime,
had enough anger and heartache,
had too much in too shorter time.
 
But we've got to leave our troubles,
and leave them way behind,
we've got to open our hearts
and see what we can find.
 
Because I just want to be your perfect wife,
your lover and your children's mother.
And I will always only want you,
there will never be another.
