TRIANGLES
 
There are three sides to a triangle,
that is the mathematical rule,
something that I've known a while,
something I learnt at school.
 
The reason that there are three sides,
and why it wouldn't work with just two,
is that one side would be left in the corner,
not knowing what to do.
 
You know that I still love you,
and so very badly want you back,
I want us to live together,
I want us back on track.
 
When we were together,
I wore your wedding ring,
we made a beautiful child,
we made the angels sing.
 
I know you weren't that happy,
but give it one more go,
I'll be there to help you,
just let your feelings show.
 
But for now you're just using me,
I'll admit the sex is great,
but it is time for you to commit,

Now not being with you,

so it is time for you to choose.
