POEMS ABOUT DEATH. REMEMBRANCE POEMS. EULOGIES.

Death and taxes, the only two certain things in life. Death is very hard to take when you lose a loved one. I lost my father as a teenager so I know from my own experience that death creates some pretty deep cuts. Over time, these wounds do eventually heal, but I'm sure that the scars will remain forever.

A poem can be a fitting and moving way to mark the passing of a loved one and can help as part of the overall grieving process.

My Other Shoe - A Love Story

"Thank you for making this Memorial Day special for me.  What a perfect gift you have given us."

Work Of Art - At times God excels Himself

"Once again, thank you. I could have sat for five years and not come up with anything near as good as this. And I know for sure Peter would love it."

Words - Can kill

"Be careful what you say about other people, you never know what they are really feeling" (AJ)

Last Words - A sad poem about death and suicide and the last words spoken.

"It's lovely, Allen....I'm very pleased."

Left Behind - Those who suffer the most.

"I thought I should mention that Jay was 20 when he died"

Gary - The loss of someone too young.

"I think the poem is wonderful. I do not mind if you publish it on your web page. You do not have to change the names. I think I want to go with the plain background and you can autograph it. I would also love to have the original handwritten draft. Thank you so much. Let me know what the next step is. Thank you so much! Gary's parents will love it."

Ronnie - Seven years a winner.

"You are a very gifted person, and I appreciate your fast response"

Trails Across The Sky - The loss of a beloved horse.

"I wouldn't change a word of your first draft--it wonderfully captures my
story of Karen and the life of Peanut.  Tears welled when reading it, and he
wasn't even my beloved horse.  I'm sure my sister Karen will cherish your
poem."

I Miss - The loss of a father.

"Just to let you know that I received your poem, it is great. Yes you can publish it  I do not have a problem with that. Thank you again. I will keep in touch."
